Had Patient On Board

A HUNTER'S AMBULANCE UNIT in Eastern Connecticut was involved in an accident around 3 am Monday morning and rolled onto its side.

The wreck took place on I-95 between exits 51 an 52 while the ambulance was taking a patient to a hospital for abdominal pains.  Early reports are incomplete, but it appears to be a single-vehicle accident.

The Branford Patch is reporting:

The ambulance was transporting a patient to the hospital for abdominal pain. Branford Medic responded with two ambulances, transporting the patient and two male crew members to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
