Drunk Honeydipper in Deep Trouble Now

A GRANDVIEW, MISSOURI, MAN Matthew Stockton, 23, has been charged with two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer after driving his car into an ambulance at an emergency scene.

It was shortly after midnight Saturday morning when Stockton was tooling down U.S. 71 approaching 85th St. in Kansas City and came upon a blockade protecting an accident scene with injuries.

The Kansas City Star reports:

According to court documents, the rescuers saw Stockton’s car headed toward them on the snowy highway, realized he was not going to stop and tried to get out of the way.

Stockton allegedly crashed into a (KCMO FD) ambulance that had its emergency lights flashing, knocking it into the pickup that had crashed earlier. A paramedic was pinned in the pickup door and a firefighter was knocked down.

Police said that Stockton, who allegedly had a blood alcohol level of .194, told them he had been at a friend’s house but he had to leave because her boyfriend was on his way home.

Well, he should get the lawyer that the scumbag D.A. had in NYC. This fool probably was too drunk to be held accountable for his actions.
