Fire Confined to Engine Area – Medics Trapped in Cab
A WILMINGTON, DELAWARE, AMBULANCE RESPONDING on an emergency call collided with a school bus in the city around 7 am Wednesday morning. The crash was was forceful enough to trap the two medics in the cab as a fire started up in the engine compartment.

Some bystanders (unconfirmed) reportedly rescued the two victims before they were further injured by the fire. They were both treated for non-life threatening injuries. One student was treated for minor injuries but none of the others were transported.
