Record Now Goes To Providence Indianapolis
Update, 11 am Wednesday:
Just now got bumped. A Facebook reader writes in the JEMS FB page that an Indianapolis medic unit was involved in a collision at 1:00 am (not yet confirmed).
A PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND, AMBULANCE was transporting a patient to the hospital around 2:30 am New Year's morning when it collided with an automobile.

The patient was transferred to another unit shortly after and continued on to the emergency room. The driver of the car was given a field sobriety test by the police and then immediately arrested and taken away. There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.
