Dad and 5th Child Survive
ESSEX, ENGLAND, FIREFIGHTERS ARRIVED to find a house fully involved early Monday morning with reports of people trapped. One man was found outside in the front yard telling them that his family was still inside. The firefighters charged inside and managed to locate the man's wife and all five of their children and got them out of the house.
Unfortunately, the woman and three of the children had already died and despite full attempts at CPR none of them survived. Two other children were taken to the hospital where one of them later passed away from the fire injuries. The children's ages range from 3 to 13. Both parents are doctors and the family had just recently moved into the neighborhood.
Essex police say that they are treating the fire as "suspicious" without saying why, yet.
