Friday Morning – Smile For The Camera!
We got off to a good start at the first day of the Firehouse Expo yesterday. A lot of folks dropped by to say "hello" and that's always nice and certainly appreciated. I was able to get a few pics and our unofficial official photographer Mike Legeros arrived and grabbed a few. Mike will be around the exhibit hall all day today, so he will be at top speed all day capturing the sights from the floor to add to his archives and website.
One of our own Geezerguys, "Engineer Sam" Yardumian
donned his Firegeezer shirt and spent a good while with
us in the booth. It was good to see him and visit together.

Helge "Hagar" Nordtveit (a real Viking) is with us on
Thursday and Friday to demonstrate an excellent fire safety
program designed for middle-school children that is being
presented at a growing number of school districts.

John Shafer, the publisher of the Green Maltese fire blog that
we have talked about several times this year, stopped by to meet
us and chat for a while. He will be speaking at one of the
Expo programs today.

There was a good-sized group of Baltimore City firefighters
checking out the Expo and some of them paused long enough
for photo opportunity for us.

No, these aren't Best Buy salesmen in their royal blues and khaki's. It's Firegeezer Bill,
Dave Statter, and Hagar doing our best to not scare off the children. Will Wyatt will be
joining us today and Saturday. No telling what will happen then.
Of course we don't have time to get everybody's photo, but were always glad to see you just the same. The Firegeezer / STATter911 booth is right in the heart of the activity at space #743, so if you are in Bawlmer this weekend, be sure to stop by.
I'm heading over to brew up some extra pots of coffee now while you get the equipment checked out. See you back in the Exhibit Hall.
