A COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO, MAN was finished with his cigarette while driving through the city Monday afternoon, so he flicked the butt out the window.  But as luck would have it, the wind currents blew it back inside the car where the lit cigarette nestled itself into the rear-seat upholstery.

It was around 4 pm when he first learned about his goof-up and decided to call some folks over to see what happened.  They arrived on Big Red a few minutes later while this home video was cranking:

 

The driver can always blame it on the auto manufacturer for not putting ash trays in the cars anymore.

    Hard to feel bad for someone who so carelessly throws a lit cigarette out the window on a very windy day.  Karma comes back at you sometimes, doesn’t it?  He’s lucky it didn’t start a wildfire, he love getting that bill!

    Sorry Bill, not luck but karma. Too bad it doesn’t happen more often. Although discarded butts cause very few fires, it’s nice to see one burn up the property of it’s owner rather than that of others.
