Saturday Morning – Let's Make Plans
It's only a month away from the annual Firehouse Expo that will be held in the Baltimore, Maryland, Convention Center. The full training and educational program runs for a full week beginning July 17. The highlight for many of us is the great display in the Exhibit Hall that is open for the final three days of the Expo, on July 21, 22, and 23. There will be more than 400 exhibitors in the hall, including our booth, and a large apparatus display from all the major firetruck builders along with several of the smaller, specialty apparatus builders.
Once again the Firegeezer gang will be teaming up with Dave Statter – of STATter911 fame – and the Firefighter Netcast guys, Rhett Fleitz and John Mitchell. The Netcast crew will have their production equipment set up and will be doing interviews all during the show for later netcasting, and there will be plenty of other activities and special guests going on in our booth.
Firegeezer, F. G. Gnome, and FossilMedic will be watching for you.
To be honest with you, all of us have a genuinely good time there, meeting all the great folks who read our websites and come by to say "hello" and for many, to meet us for the first time. And we want to make it easy for you to get in there and patrol the floor, so we are offering you free passes to get into the exhibit hall. Your pass is good for all three days, but you need to sign up for them online before you go. So write this down and register for your free admission as soon as you can:
1) Go to: http://FirehouseExpo.com
2) On upper right corner, click on Register Today
3) Next page, click on Click Here to Register
4) Fill out first two parts of Step 1, then in the Promo Code box enter: EX79
5) When you get to Step 3, click on Exhibit Hall Only. If you entered the Promo Code in Step 1, the fee will be showing $0 (watch out for the automatic subscription to the magazine just below. You have to de-select it or you're stuck with a subscription.)
6) Finish out the registration form. You will pick up your badge at the Expo registration counter.
The only requirement is that you must stop by Booth #743 and visit with us while you are there. Thanks and we'll be watching for you!
