ANOTHER PENNSYLVANIA VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER has been arrested and charged with arson.  State Police have arrested Charles Whipkey, 34, in Somerset County which is in the western end of the state near Pittsburgh.

Whipkey is a member of the Confluence Volunteer Fire Department and investigators determined that he is the person who intentionally set a fire to a house in Confluence Borough that caused $60,000 in damage.  The police say that Whipkey set the fire Tuesday morning just before 6 am and then responded to the fire call.  A woman and her caretaker brother made it out of the home safely, but they lost all of their belongings.  No injuries were reported.
