A LARGE FIRE SWEPT THROUGH the top four floors of a 15-story apartment building in Kingston, England, Monday evening. Later that same night, a 32-yr.-old woman was taken into custody and has been remanded to a psychiatric facility for evaluation. Police are not yet saying why they have connected her with the fire.

The fire started just before 5 pm and required the efforts of more than 100 firefighters for 4 hours to bring it under control. The building is a public housing project and is owned by the municipality. A total of 60 units are made uninhabitable by the blaze. The housing project is infamous as being the location for tv cop shows that need a seedy, run-down dump for a location scene.
