Too funny ... police love responding to fires and rescue scenes ... they are like uniformed bystanders ... they love to get their face on camera, give interviews to the media and claim credit for the good work done by Firefighters and EMS personnel. And they seem to always manage to suffer from smoke inhalation when the trapped civilians do not require medical assistance???

Hmmm ... The woman and the two little children who were trapped in the car were treated and released at the scene but the cop who arrived after them suffered smoke inhalation that was severe enough for him to be transported to the hospital???
