YPSILANTI, MICHIGAN, FIREFIGHTERS were called out shortly after 7 am Sunday morning for a fire reported in a 2-story office building. When they arrived they found the large building was already fully involved, probably due to the late discovery of the fire. Literally within minutes after their arrival the upper floor collapsed onto the first floor.

The operation grew to five alarms bringing in several neighboring departments to battle the blaze in the sub-freezing temperatures.
WJBK-TV Ch. 2 Detroit filed this video report from the scene:
Two firefighters were reported to have suffered minor injuries operating in the icy fireground before the fire was brought under control in four hours. Investigators are at work trying to determine the cause while they believe that the fire started on the ground floor in a lawyer’s office.
