The Morristown, New Jersey-based ambulance was carrying a patient from a hospital in Sussex County to a nursing home in Warren County. The driver of a pickup truck was behind the ambulance and witnessed the unexplained maneuver that led to the crash.
The wreck left all three occupants trapped and required extensive extrication work to free them. The medic riding in the back was airlifted to the hospital and the driver was transported by ground. No names or ages of the victims have been released yet.
The Express-Times has the STORY.

Brodt, 36, of Allentown, an emergency medical worker in the rear of the ambulance with the patient, was flown to St. Luke’s Hospital Fountain Hill, for treatment for pain in his right arm and a cut to the head.
