FIRES SPREAD BY CONDUCTION, CONVECTION, RADIATION AND …… TRANSPORTATION.
In Bellevue, Nebraska (near Omaha), an unoccupied, burning pickup truck started rolling down a driveway and coasted into the garage of a house around 2 am Sunday morning.
The blazing truck set the garage on fire which then spread partly into the house itself. The incident happened during a windy snowstorm and the Bellevue VFD made a special point to commend the neighbors for having already dug out the fire hydrants in the area.
