A DOZEN FRANKLIN COUNTY, MASSACHUSETTS, FIRE DEPARTMENTS were called to assist the Millers Falls FD on Sunday night when a fire destroyed a large, Victorian-era, wood frame home and a nearby barn. The fire was discovered shortly after 8 pm in the house that had been converted into a duplex residence, and everybody escaped safely. All of the contents were lost, though, except for a few Christmas presents that the tenants were able to grab on their way out.
