Mutual Aid, or Buffing?

Comments

WHILE ONE PERSON MIGHT GUESS THIS WAS THE COMMAND CAR of a mutual-aid EMS supervisor in the Greater Boston area, somebody else would say it belonged to ChicagoLand’s most avid fire buff.

Neither guess would be correct, though.

In actuality it belongs to a ham radio operator who has apparently attempted to set the record of how many countries he can talk to at the same time, stocking his $500 Dodge Colt with $25,000 worth of electronics.

If using a cell phone is being linked to brain tumors what happens with this? Man end up with a tender timer in place of a D???
  • Geezer's shot is too close to show the attachments for this rig to my suspenders. You see, with a simple click this all pops out of my beloved Colt and attaches to my belt, allowing me the mobility to trundle like a tortoise to those hard-to reach places. I got the idea from your heretofore-mentioned Al Franken from his earlier SNL days with the satellite dish on his head.
  • You mean, this isn't Fire Daily's news mobile??
  • And yet I'm discouraged from answering my one phone while driving...hmmmmm
