Another Stolen Ambulance

THIS TIME IN NASHUA, NEW HAMPSHIRE, WHERE A MAN stole an ambulance early Friday morning from the Rockingham Regional Ambulance squad and drove it to the Milford High School.  Once there, he was observed by school personnel to park the ambulance in the school lot and then begin looking into other cars  parked there.  While there, he donned an EMT’s shirt that was in the ambulance and put on a pair of blue latex gloves.

By then the school authorities had called the police and were awaiting them when the thief next entered the school with a stethoscope around his neck and walked to the office where he asked to see his school transcripts.  At just about that time, the police arrived and took him into custody.  The miscreant was then identified to be a Robert Ngari, 25, who told them that he had gone to school there.  It was quickly determined that he never did attend Milford High.

WFXT-TV Boston has this video report:

He was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, attempted theft, receiving stolen property, impersonating medical personnel and criminal trespassing.  .  The prosecutor later said that Ngari has a long criminal record in the area.  He is currently being held in jail in lieu of a $50,000 cash bail.
