A FIRE BROKE OUT IN A REPORTEDLY-VACANT furniture warehouse in northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, this afternoon (Wednesday).

The first-in units found heavy smoke showing in the 3-story warehouse and within seconds flames erupted on the top floor.  A second alarm was immediately struck, and the additional companies assisted in bringing the fire under control shortly after 1 pm.

The cause of the fire hasn’t been released yet.

WTXF-TV has some raw video from their helicopter:

A very wise decision was made to surround and drown….

Remember the Worcester 6… tomorrow is the 10th anniversary of that fire.
