My question now to everyone will be what to see in part 2 of this installment. I am playing with numerous apps, seeing what can and will work, and not work for us. Do I continue strictly with just Fire/EMS related stuff, or go into the trials and tribulations of the Droid itself, and the little things I have found good and bad to it? I am not staying strictly to Fire/EMS stuff in my research, as I have found ways to install different ringtones to it (admit it, we all want to customize it), in addition to the more "fun apps", like games and such. I can say for certain now, this will be the phone I will stick with in the future.

Feedback on "Talk to me": I've put it through its paces the last few days, and over all it is a decent app. It works great translation English to Spanish in a spoken manner, IE hitting the microphone button, saying what you need to say, and it repeating back to you in Spanish. On the other hand, it wont allow for spoken Spanish to English, which is something just as important. If you can spell whatever is spoken, it will translate it from there. This is still a great app, and will get better once the Spanish to English speaking can be implemented.

I picked up my Droid when Verizon released. It's an excellent phone and can be even better when developers for Fire/Rescue apps realize there is a market for Android devices. An app that can help with WebWiser is Dolphin Browser. Dolphin Browser has pinch to zoom capabilities which can make it easier to zoom in on important info. It is free in the Marketplace.
