With three weeks left in class which my department already paid $650 for, we were informed on Saturday taht it will be $235 to take the State paratical ($150 to the State, $85 to the examiners) Upon sucessful completion of the practical, you must pay the "vendor" $55 to take the written which by the way you have three attempts to pass but of course it's $55 for each attempt. If you are unlucky enough to have go to the written three times the total cost oc certification is $1050. That doesn't include time and transportation to take the course.
