Jimmy didn’t know what to say after that, so he just smiled and said, “Thanks” and walked out. Next door was an ice cream shop and that sounded good right about then. So he went inside and ordered a sugar cone with two scoops of chocolate-mint.
While he was waiting for the clerk to serve up his order, he glanced out the front window and immediately saw one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen. This angel was looking in the window and when she saw him looking at her, she broke out in a big smile. But the most striking feature that Jimmy noticed was her bright, red hair. Shoulder length and the color that is usually called “flaming.”
It seemed like forever until the clerk handed him his cone and made the change for his purchase, but as soon as he got both, he flew to the door to try and catch up with this lovely lady who had immediately grabbed his heart. But she was gone. Looking up and down the sidewalk, he couldn’t see her anywhere. She just disappeared.
