Bill G. :
Ahh.... the NewEveryTwo feature. Thanks for reminding me. I'm way past eligible time for that.
Ref: the laptops. I held off purchasing one until the Win 7 comes out this month. I didn't want to buy the Vista so close to being able to do better.

The feedback that I got from the request for suggestions was very valuable, both in hearing what people liked as well as what they didn't like. I'm 99% certain that I'm going to go with the Dell.

Thanks for checking in.
Bill S.

Same here Geez. I have also been reading about the Droid. The very well clued-in writer at the BoyGeniusReport says it's the most exciting phone he has seen since the iPhone. I have Verizon now and have been using a very basic phone, but my contract has expired and I'm due for a NewEveryTwo phone, so I may take the plunge.

By the way, several months ago you were asking for input about getting a laptop computer. Maybe I missed it, but what did you decide? Did you buy one? If so, what kind?

I dunno Geez, I resisted the Crackberry for several years, then Verizon sweetened the deal to the point where six of us from my station jumped on board.

What an amazing machine!! Either way, you will be happy, definitely worth staying on Verizon.

The CPR app is not just for EMTs... it's for ANYONE who has taken CPR. In fact, it is specifically targeted at non-professionals, i.e., those who don't perform CPR on a regular basis. It includes a fast refresher on hand placement and ventilations, in addition to the metronome. From what I have been told by someone who has it, it can also be used in the compression-only CPR technique.
