Battle of Jericho – cont'd.

THE BELEAGUERED MAYOR OF JERICHO is now hiding behind the re-activated police force.  When KPTY-TV reporter Kevin Holmes  approached the city hall yesterday and started to enter, a police officer shut and locked the door.

He was following up on the new development where the city as issued a felony battery arrest warrant against the former fire chief Don Payne.  However, they haven’t served it yet.  Payne is sitting out in front of his house waiting to be served while the city officials and the police do everything they can to stay hidden from the public.

Here is Kevin Holmes’ report for Ch. 24 that ran last night:

    Crazy…..Just plain crazy. It makes our small grumps about this guy or that guy seem so trivial. The “other guy” always has it worse….No whinnin from me……for maybe an hour or so. :)
