Watch the video. The fireworks display was being paid for by a local Eagles Lodge. I’d be willing to bet that the fireworks are owned by the pyrotechnics firm. Whoever pays them is paying for a “fireworks display.” No display, no pay. The fireworks firm will have to eat the cost.

Soooo, Let me get this straight…

A taxpayer funded Fire Marshal is going to destroy the taxpayer funded
fireworks due to a mistake beyond the taxpayers’ control..

How about looking for a “Win-Win” solution…

A HEAVY ($$$$) FINE for the contractor and
“destroy” the fireworks with the scheduled fireworks show.

Then the taxpayers could say,
“WOW.!!! What a Fire Department.!!!
They kept us safe WITHOUT punishing US.!!!!”

Just a thought….
