A 44-YR.-OLD HOMELESS MAN HAS BEEN CHARGED with setting three fires in vacant homes in a 2-day span in Lincoln, Nebraska. All of the buildings are in the same block that is scheduled for demolition to make way for a mid-rise office building.
The first two fires occurred on Monday and the third one burned on Tuesday afternoon.

The city, along with the fire department, is working with the landowner, an insurance company that will be building their headquarters on the site, to accelerate the demolition of the remaining buildings.
