FAMED PITCHMAN BILLY MAYS, owner of the voice that could send millions grabbing for their MUTE buttons, was found dead in his Tampa, Florida, home by his wife on Sunday morning. He was 50 years old.
The police say there were no signs of a break-in, and investigators do not suspect foul play. The coroner’s office expects to have an autopsy done by Monday afternoon.

It was learned this afternoon the Billy Mays was on board the airliner that made the “hard” landing at Tampa International Airport yesterday. WTVT Ch. 13 filed this video report on the close call Friday evening:
He later said, ”All of a sudden as we hit you know, it was just the hardest hitm all of the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head.”
The possibility of a subdural hematoma is now being considered.
