WHEN TOLEDO, OHIO, FIREFIGHTERS ARRIVED AT A HOUSE FILLED WITH SMOKE yesterday (Friday) morning, their entry was delayed by a “protective” pit bull dog in the yard. So they used an unusual forcible entry tool to make their way inside where they found a dryer fire.
WUPW-TV had the camera rolling as the FF’s put the special tool into practice:
Even though the access was only delayed for a couple of minutes, they still had to assign one firefighter to the dedicated position of “dog watch” throughout the operation.
