The rescue truck was responding to a medical emergency with two FF’s when it came to the intersection.  The FD vehicle reportedly came to a complete stop and then started to move slowly into the intersection when a private automobile drove into the left rear side of the truck.

The driver of the car had serious, but not life threatening, injuries and was transported.  The two  FF’s were uninjured.

I think the most alarming part of this story is that a heavy rescue truck is staffed with two firefighters.
