A SUSPICIOUS FIRE BROKE OUT IN a vacant furniture factory in Lenoir, North Carolina, this morning.

The fire started just before 2 am and kept firefighters busy for over four hours. Most of their efforts were directed at keeping the fire from spreading to nearby buildings as they elected to allow the fire to burn itself out.
The former Singer Manufacturing plant was abandoned ten years ago.
