FossilMedic got an email this afternoon from Tule Fog. The Battalion Store is open! (HERE)

We mentioned The Battalion: The Series in April when this web-based reality TV series were in the Washington DC area and filming downtown and in Kentland.  They are also filming with the National Institutes of Health fire department in Montgomery County Maryland.

The Battalion Store has opened just in time to order those “they are in the mail” presents for the Winter Carnival.

I was hoping to score a Kentland DVD box set and get them signed by an elusive former 33 chief … who keeps ignoring me … even after Dave Statter tries to “help.”

Alas,  just the San Francisco series – 28 episodes from 2003 to 2008 – six discs for a total of $113.70 – is available. (HERE)

Also on FireGeezer…

Why waste $113 on cameras riding in a cab when you can go on Youtube and ride every single fire department’s fire trucks for free? This series is a huge disappointment. They don’t show any fire at all…they only show six minutes of riding to a fire, and then the show ends when they get on scene. It had a hell of a lot of potential, but has now become a waste of time.
