IN DUNCAN, OKLAHOMA, A MAN DROVE his mini-van right through the wall of the AMR ambulance service building Saturday night.
Police say the man was traveling along the street and then suddenly cut across the incoming traffic and drove right into the building without ever slowing down or applying the brakes. His van ended up in the ambulance bay where people and equipment are usually found, but all the units were out on calls at that moment.
The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries, but the police were unable to interview him because he was incoherent.
