ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO, FIRE CAPTAIN Pete Longdon was driving on I-40 Thursday night when he witnessed a car going into a spin and then hitting a concrete barrier. Within moments it burst into flames and Capt. Longdon dashed to the car where a passenger had already gotten out of the car.
The driver was still inside and unconscious, though. Capt. London tells a reporter what he did next in this video report from KRQE-TV:
