A HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS, MAN MADE AN UNWISE DECISION Saturday night when he jumped out of a moving ambulance on the East Freeway just outside of Houston.
The Houston Chronicle reports:
The North Channel Emergency Medical Service ambulance responded to a call and picked up the unidentified man as a patient from a location near Freeport Street and East Freeway around 6:48 p.m., authorities said.
As the ambulance was driving down the East Freeway near East Sam Houston Parkway North, the man jumped out of the ambulance and began running down the freeway, authorities said.
He was then struck by at least one vehicle and killed.
Nobody knows why the man jumped out of the ambulance.
