Fire Truck Collision In St. Louis

TWO ENGINES FROM THE ST. LOUIS (MISSOURI) FIRE DEPARTMENT collided at an intersection while responding to the same fire this afternoon.

The accident happened just before 1 pm Central time and caused one of the pumpers to roll onto its side.

All eight firefighters were transported to the hospital for minor injuries.  Seven of them have been released already, but the eighth will be held overnight for observation for a concussion.

The fire was a worker in a commercial  residential building two blocks away from the accident site.  There is no further information available yet as investigation is just beginning.
