WHILE COWLITZ COUNTY, WASHINGTON, FIREFIGHTERS were working a house fire Sunday morning, a thief went into the ambulance that was unattended on the scene and stole several vials of medications.
Since everybody in the neighborhood was watching the blaze, nobody witnessed the theft. It wasn’t until a few hours later when the medics were taking a routine inventory that they discovered the missing drugs. One of them is a “muscle paralyzer” that could be fatal if used improperly.
