TRANSPORTATION WEEK JUST KEEPS PRODUCING HERE AT FIREGEEZER.
After last week’s numerous entries of planes, trains, trucks, cars, buses, motorcycles, and fire engines, we kept on going. Earlier today we added balloons, Conestoga wagons, more trains and race cars.
We’ll finish it up today with the most obvious form of transportation of all …… running:
The Australian Stiletto Sprint was held yesterday (Tuesday). The 80-meter sprint became a record-setter when it had the most entrants of any stiletto sprint ever, shattering the old record of 150.

And they’re off !
265 Australian glams with gams raced for fame and fortune wearing 3-inch high heels. In order to be an official race, all the girls were checked to see that their heels met the 3-inch minimum and that they had “smooth legs.” The Guinness Book of Records recorded and accepted the race results.

The Winner, Brittney McGlone
An 18-yr.-old professional track star, Brittney McGlone won the race and collected $5,000 and a pair of gold Terry Biviano stilettos for her efforts. “It looks like Australia has smashed the current world record and should now hold the title for the most number of people ever to participate in a stiletto sprint,” Australian representative for Guinness World Records Chris Sheedy said.
And of course, Firegeezer has the video:
