		<description>I hope L36 gets out of the IAFF.  Let them negotiate their own contracts without GIS mapping studies and nationwide salary comparisons that are done by the IAFF.  And for your information FDNY is in the IAFF.  They left the IAFF briefly but have since come back to the fold.</description>

They will kick you out of the Union and keep taking your money (just not as much) citing &quot;collective bargaining&quot; agreements. Sounds like some lawsuits might be on the way!!! Or L36 may just get out of the IAFF all together, just like FDNY.</description>
