A BREWERY IN BOHEMIA, CZECH REPUBLIC has opened a beer spa in the cellars where you can soak in a specially-prepared beer bath while sipping a glass of the cool stuff.
Chodovar Family Brewery prepares your bath by drawing a tub of mineral water heated to 34º C. (93º F.) mixed with beer yeast, hops and curative herbs, and then two gallons of real beer added to it. While you are soaking (it all in) the hostess brings you a glass of the brewery’s finest to sip and enjoy. The experience finishes off with another 20 minutes in the “relaxing room” with another glass of the real stuff.
The price for a full spa soak including two glasses of beer is about $25. A beer massage can be provided for an extra fee. Since they are booked weeks in advance, you’d better make plans to visit next year when your leave is approved. Visit the Chodovar website HERE.
