This snazzy, Star Trek-looking device automatically opens whenever Rover approaches it to go outside or back in. The door operates much like an automatic garage door, except that instead of pushing a button, Rover wears a waterproof chip that clips onto his collar. Whenever he gets near, the door opens. A safety feature prevents it from lopping off his tail if he’s too slow to get through the opening.
They are made out of the same material that football helmets are made of, so you don’t have to worry about burglars coming thru while you’re gone. They come in several sizes to accommodate your animal. Prices range from $129 to $800 depending on size and extra features chosen.
