Ka-Boom In Belgium
THE GENTSE FEESTEN (FESTIVAL OF GHENT) IN BELGIUM is one of Europes largest outdoor festivals, bringing in 10 million people in 10 days.
Shortly after the night’s festivities closed down at 4:30 am this morning, an employee in one of the Burgertents was changing propane bottles when a fire started. After it got hot enough, the bottle blew, making a spectacular fireball.
Fortunately the tent was closed and only eight people were injured, two of them seriously. Out on the street, one of the revelers had his cellphone video rolling when the big ka-boom occurred:
