<description>My dad was one of the original founders of the Luttrell Volunteer Fire Department, I do think it was 1981. His name is William Ohse. I was only 12 or 13 years old at the time, but I remember going to the fire station in Lutrell and helping to wax the new (well, new to them) fire truck and watched as they trained and practiced. We moved here in 1982 and they had a big going away party for my dad, and everyone signed a fire helmet and place mats.

I went to school in Luttrel, and I was in Mrs. Toppins class... with Kenny Chesney who was a child hood friend of mine.

I was looking through some of the newspaper articles just to see what has been happening in my old home town, when I saw the one about the Fire Department.

Thanks for your time
