BILL BRAMANTI OF SOUTH CHICAGO HEIGHTS, ILLINOIS, loves his Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. He loves it so much that he wants to break the rules and take it with him when he dies and goes to the Great Tavern in the sky.
So he ordered his casket “before need” and had it customized for his special needs, namely designed like a big PBR can. “I actually fit, because I got in here,” said Bramanti, looking pleased with his purchase.

And being practical, he had a plastic liner inserted in it so that it can be used as a beer cooler while he awaits the fatal day. The beer casket will hold 15 cases of Pabst and 150 lbs. of ice. This past Saturday he threw a party for his friends and they tried out the super-cooler.
“Why put such a great novelty piece up on a shelf in storage when you could use it only the way Bill Bramanti would use it?” said Bramanti’s daughter, Cathy Bramanti, 42.
