AROUND 2:30 AM THIS MORNING IN VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, a heavy explosion blew out the Taco Del Mar restaurant downtown.

The blast also considerably damaged a Starbucks coffee shop next door and did some lesser damage to another half-dozen shops.
The entire area is still cordoned off and both the police and FD remain on the scene. The Fire Department is considering a natural gas explosion as the most likely cause.
