THE WILDFIRE NAMED CORRAL RIPPED THROUGH the Corral Canyon in the Malibu Hills yesterday.

As of this morning, 51 homes had been destroyed with another 27 damaged. The fire has covered 5,000 acres and is 25% contained. Firefighters were given a break, of sorts, as the winds have dropped down to 20 mph. However the humidity has remained below 8%, which increases the fire generation.
