The solid-black smoke is remarkable for its compactness and density. The fire just broke out about 35 minutes ago and there are no reports yet as to what is actually burning.
The Fire Brigade initially responded with 8 trucks and 40 FF’s to the area where construction has begun on buildings for the 2012 Olympics. There are also reports that a major bus station is in the vicinity as well.
