Fort Worth FF's Win Collective Bargaining

Comments

FORT WORTH BECAME THE 22nd TEXAS CITY TO ADOPT COLLECTIVE BARGAINING for firefighters Tuesday.

A special proposition on the ballot to allow it was passed with a solid 55% majority.  The Chamber of Commerce and the City Council were both opposed to the measure, but the firefighters hit the streets early with their message and connected with the citizens, thus ensuring a strong passage.
