IT WAS A CLOSE MATCH, PITTING AN AMERICAN AGAINST THE HOME-TOWN FAVORITE FROM BERLIN.  David “Double D” Depto, a pharmaceutical salesman from California went up against a German policeman billed as “Anti-Terror Frank” in the final match of the first World Chess Boxing Championships.
