THE CITY OF MUSKEGO, WISCONSIN, just outside of Milwaukee, is served by two volunteer fire departments. Each year the city distributes approx. $450 thousand between the two departments for their operational expenses.
However, one of them, the Muskego Volunteer Fire Company, made a dubious decision when they elected a convicted felon to be the president of the corporation about 3 years ago.
Since then the FD’s bank account has run dry along with thousands of dollars worth of unaccountable credit card purchases.
