Hot Inquiry Begins Anew

THE RE-OPENING OF THE INQUIRY INTO the mysterious death of Judge Chubb in England began today. Firegeezer reported 12 days ago (HERE) that his former mistress had successfully obtained the new inquiry after a 6-year battle to get the case re-opened.

The judge died in a mysterious explosion in his garden shed just 90 minutes after he told his wife that he was going to divorce her and take up with his mistress Kerry Sparrow. The grieving widow collected her £1 million inheritance and skedaddled to Australia. She is not attending the inquest.

In the first inquest Mrs. Chubb claimed that Miss Sparrow was trying to blackmail her husband. She later admitted that she had had two affairs in the past, too. Most of yesteday’s testimony was directed to trying to discredit Miss Sparrow’s original testimony. Also, a forensic expert testified that the autopsy was sloppily done and the report was incomplete. The judge was cremated two days after his death and the Mrs. Chubb had the shed, and any remaining forensic evidence, demolished the day after the fire.
