AN AMR AMBULANCE IN HAMDEN, CONNECTICUT was responding on a medical call yesterday morning when it was broadsided by a car at an intersection. The collision caused the ambulance to roll over onto its side.

Two off-duty FF’s from New Haven were passing by and removed the 86-yr.-old driver from his Toyota as the engine compartment caught fire. He and the two medics were transported but only suffered minor injuries.
It was determined that the geezer went through a stop sign and he has been cited.
